Cold in place recycling

This is a cold technique that is performed on site in order to recycle pavement with micro cracks or for pavement that is degraded by ruts and deformations. These powerful machines that are used to break up the pavement and remix it with an emulsion of bitumen, are conceived to do this job in a single procedure; the recycled mixture is then laid down and ready for traffic as soon as it is compacted.

This rapid procedure allows us to offer a recycled mixture of 65 to 150mm of thickness, which re-establishes the cross profile and considerably improves the uniformity which gives a more comfortable ride for the users. It can be used on all types of roads however demands an adequate understanding for both the recycling mix design as well as the choice of pavement that will complete the final recycled surface.
